Nicky Coventry
Fashion wasn't just a subject Nicky chose in high school — it was a calling, even when few of her peers understood it. While others steered away from style and design in Years 11 and 12, Nicky leaned in. That instinct never left her.
For 21 years, Nicky flew the world as an international flight attendant with Qantas — living out of a suitcase, crossing time zones, and dressing for every occasion in between. She understood better than most what it meant to need clothing that was polished at 35,000 feet and effortless at a rooftop dinner hours later. She also knew that wardrobe didn't really exist yet.
When Nicky lost her beloved father, something shifted. Life felt too short, too precious, to keep her dream on hold. Hostess the Label was born — a name that honours the career that shaped her, and a brand built on everything she'd learned from a life beautifully, stylishly lived.
Today, Nicky balances her role as a Cabin Manager at Virgin Australia with running HTL — designing pieces for the woman who moves through the world with intention, elegance, and joy.
