For founder Nicky Coventry, that love started at school, designing and making pieces she would wear in the annual fashion parade. It stayed with her through 21 years flying internationally with Qantas, living out of a suitcase and learning what earns its place in a wardrobe.

After losing her beloved father, Nicky decided to stop putting her dream on hold. Hostess the label was born, its name a quiet nod to the career that shaped her.
